William Standish Knowles’ daughter Elizabeth stated that her father donated his entire Nobel Prize money and that he did not keep any of it for himself. He donated part of the money to two Monsanto coworkers who collaborated with him in the L-dopa research. He donated the other part of the money to Harvard and Columbia.
